Optical Sphere.

This piece was another iteration of the lens series, using the repurposing the same grating as the resin series and the layered lenses sconce. Most importantly, it was an optical study. I had discovered that spheres have a very playful optical element to them, and I wanted to utilize that. Using dichroic and two-way mirror film, I was able to create an illusion of depth when looking through the open sides. Movement around the piece allows for an interactive experience as the reflection in the spheres are continually changing.
