Velvet Sunrise.

This chair was made using mahogany wood, velvet upholstery, and brass tubing. I used basic joinery techniques such as mortise and tenon, biscuit joints, and half-lap joints. Finally, I chose a satin polyurethane finish on the mahogany to give the wood a beautiful depth.
